3. Paper is a thing of the past: sustainable networking without losing any information

Paper business cards have long been a staple of everyday business life. But in an age where information changes rapidly and companies are increasingly focused on sustainability, the question arises: is paper really still the best solution?


Many are familiar with the problem. Cards are handed out, but later become untraceable. Phone numbers change, email addresses are updated, or the company evolves. The printed card remains unchanged, even though reality has long since moved on. This not only leads to a loss of information, but often also means that valuable contacts are not utilised.


Digital business cards offer a significantly more modern approach here. They reduce paper consumption, avoid unnecessary reprints and, at the same time, ensure that contact details remain up to date. This is not only more sustainable, but also more cost-effective. Companies save on materials, printing costs and organisational effort.
